has been a US Coast Guard licensed captain for over 20 years. He began his career at sea while traveling and doing repairs on board ships working for contractors and companies like Holland America Lines and Sea Land. He then became a commercial fisherman and lobsterman. He attained his captain's license for work on research vessels for the NJ Marine Science Consortium, NOAA and US government tug boats, as well as crew boats and party boats. He also captained on various private yachts and worked as a delivery captain- delivering new & used yachts and work boats along the entire east coast from Florida to New England on into Canada.
